Back to Blogging

So I'm back! I have been away for a bit from my blog ''Crystal's View From Here'' because of some significant life updates. First, let me thank you all for your continued support. I am so grateful for this community of readers, writers, designers, photographers and all things creative and Fun!
So I became a Mom for the second time, baby number two a boy we named him "Trenton Isaac". It's a boys club so far in my household...Trenton at 8 months is all ready to follow behind his big brother Joshua's every move. I also must tell you that Trenton is the happiest baby I have ever meet, he really has kept us smiling through our move to Miami. Which is the next major update we moved to Miami!
I have to admit it has been quite an up hall effort to get settled in the city, however, our faith, the smiles of children and the beautiful scenery Miami has to offer has kept my husband and I inspired to push to reach our goals here. Keep up to date with my blog through my Instagram   Crystal (@crystalbea27) • Instagram photos and videos

My third and final announcement is that I'm going back to school to finish my Degree! This is the first time I've mentioned this on a social platform not because I'm shy about the subject it's just that returning to school as an adult with two young children in a new city, at least new to my family is a big deal for me. I know now though I am ready to finish what I started. So I'm excited to share what I learn and experience along the way.

Thanks as always for stopping by
Crystal

When I walk into a department store looking for an Easter basket for my child or any child majority of the baskets are filled with candy taped to a cardboard backing and at least one toy. Keep in mind that I'm referring to budget friendly easter baskets the grab and go kind!
Anyway, my Husband and I decided to create our own easter basket last minute. Everything with the basket turned out great. I  Just wanted to share some tips with you.... just in case you ever find yourself shopping the day/afternoon/night before a special day.

1.Have a Plan.
In other words, know what you want to buy. going out to shop on a weekend and the day before a major holiday can be busy and possibly overwhelming,  Make a list keep it short and sweet things go much smoother when you know what items you want, your budget and even selecting a theme for your gift basket can make shopping last minute a breeze.

2. Stay close to Home.
When you drive across town just to catch a deal, time sometimes gets away from you! shopping close to home ties along with your plan to get the best items for the best cost in the least amount of time. the whole point is to get what need and move on. This brings me to my next tip.

3.Have Fun.
The real whole point is to have a great time shopping for your loved ones. There is nothing like a personalized gift on a special day. Yes, these are last minute shopping tips but remember the reason you are going from store to store in the first place.

I hope these tips will help you this Easter... or during any last minute shopping time you may find yourself in.
Happy Easter
